Develop, implement, and oversee governance structures, quality processes, and compliance mechanisms to ensure alignment with internal policies, accreditation requirements, and regulatory standards.
Coordinate ODL policies and best practices across faculties, streamlining workflows, clarifying roles and responsibilities, and strengthening cross-functional communication and accountability.

Academic Programme Leadership
Provide academic leadership and oversight to Programme Directors, lecturers, and learning designers to ensure delivery of high-quality, market-relevant, and academically rigorous curricula.
Mentor and guide academic staff in effective online pedagogy, assessment design, and learner engagement strategies.
Design and deliver professional development and training initiatives to upskill academic staff in online teaching, assessment integrity, and technology-enabled learning.
Digital Delivery, Technology & Innovation
Provide strategic oversight of the online learning ecosystem, including LMS, digital tools, and learning technologies.
Lead the adoption, integration, and optimisation of innovative educational technologies to enhance learner engagement, accessibility, and learning outcomes.

Quality Assurance, Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
Design and lead comprehensive quality assurance and evaluation frameworks to monitor academic standards, learning experiences, and operational effectiveness.

Oversee and coordinate academic advising, study support, and counselling functions to monitor student engagement, progression, and retention.
Proactively identify and address student experience risks, ensuring timely intervention and resolution.
Operational Excellence & Delivery Management
Lead the end-to-end operational delivery of online programmes, ensuring adherence to academic calendars, timelines, and service standards.
Oversee operational dashboards, reporting mechanisms, and risk management processes to ensure transparency, accountability, and sustainability.
Optimise resource allocation and workflows to enhance efficiency and delivery consistency across programmes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a key institutional representative in academic, industry, and professional engagements, advocating for excellence in online learning.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (faculties, learning designers, IT, registry, student support teams) to ensure alignment and cohesive execution.

Appointed as the emcee for Taylor’s 16th International Teaching and Learning Conference (also known as TTLC 2025), themed ‘Higher Education in the Age of AI: Transforming Learning for Sustainable Futures.’
